Bank of America Houston, Texas & United Way:

Bank of America- Houston, Texas sponsored a bingo at Knights of Columbus Bishop Odin council 2917, benefiting the Texas Gulf Coast United Way.

The employees from B of A branches in Conroe to Galveston and Beaumont to Katy participated in an evening of bingo on September 24, 2002. The event was held at the Knights of Columbus Bishop Odin council 2917 hall.

Approximately 500 bankers from Bank of America participated in the worthy cause to raise funds for United Way. To add some extra spirit the senior managers of Bank of America put on a skit based on the movie Grease. A great time was had by all. Deborah Cannon, President of Bank of America Houston, stated that this was the first time that all the business units were represented at a function like this and over $11,000 was raised for United Way.

Mark your calendars for next year. BofA chair person, Wanda Champ, stated that they had so much fun they were going to definitely work on a repeat evening of fun.
