November 30 & December 1, 2001-
Knights of Columbus Bishop Odin Council 2917 sponsors a BBQ and Chili cook off benefiting Toys for Tots.
Friday night dance, the hall was full of fine music, provided by the Telstars, and plenty of boots scootin across that old raised wooden dance floor. Word is that this is the oldest and best one in town. Well here is what you have been waiting for. We had 21 teams.
The Master Chef trophy went to asleep at the Pit- Harald Fenn, Hugh Vickery, and Carl Messana's.

We had Dennis Aldrich entertain us along with a couple of good ole boys on guitars.
The Marines came out and helped collect toys and cash for the tots. Thanks to all of your generosity we raised $695 in cash and 4 big boxes of toys, a bicycle and a slide worth about $800.
I want to thank Landmark Chevorlet for donating some bbq utensil kits that brought in $315 and Judy from the old Judy's bar that worked that effort. A big thank you to David Wilgus and all the BBQ teams that participated and all the volunteers.

Mark your calendar for December 6th & 7th of 2002. The Telstars did.
